Glenshire and Devonshire

Located approximately 6 miles northeast of downtown Truckee, the subdivisions of Glenshire and Devonshire are peaceful and secluded communities which many locals call home. Nestled among alpine peaks and encompassing a small lake, this friendly neighborhood of fewer than 1500 homes is truly welcoming.

Offering a friendly mountain environment with close proximity to the elementary school, the streets are typically quiet and this area has a lower snow load than most other parts of Truckee.

Here you’ll find children playing outdoors year round, ice skaters on the local pond in winter, locals splashing in the HOA pool or playing tennis at its courts, equestrians making use of the abundant public lands surrounding these subdivision along with mountain bikers and hikers. In the winter the same public lands is a wonderland of cross country skiing and snow-shoeing. In the summer it’s easy access to Boca and Stampede Reservoisr for fishing, camping, boating and water-skiing.

The Glenshire Resident’s Association maintains a popular swimming pool, clubhouse, and tennis courts. There is also a general store.
